Cancer is life threatening. All of us are scared of it. What we need to do is to spread the awareness about cancer. So that Cancer can be diagnosed as early as possible and if it is in preliminary stage it CAN BE cured... There are many examples we all have seen.

WoW! This blog was absolutely amazing. I am 22 years young and I am finally beginning to embrace my cancer. I was fifteen when I relapsed with stage four hodgkins lymphoma and bouncing back to the life of high school and social atmospheres was especially difficult in our harsh generation. I found that it was difficult to date also because NO ONE could accept me for what I had been through. EVEN ME. This blog is awesome because it really showed me that the way I feel isn't stupid. Just because your cancer is in remission doesn't mean the fight is over emotionally or physically. Feel free to follow me on twitter www.twitter.com/aubreymonique8 or add me on facebook Aubrey Wilson. Us cancer survivors must stick together.

I have had brain cancer for over a year, first surgery, then 6 months later it cam back, now chemo. Only a few close friends and my children know about it, I am only 35. I am unemployed now, and have no insurance, my only hope is to find a job with benifits. It is difficult enough keeping a seckret in a small town, If I came out to the world bout this I would have no hope of finding a job, who wants an employee with brain cancer.

There is no shame in feeling anxiety, depression, and even a sense of loss after your treatment ends. It's such a common phenomenon that I spent time researching that post-treatment let-down, and found a variety of studies supporting and case histories documenting the emotions. Entitled "The Quiet That Doesn't Come After The Storm: Post-Cancer Anxiety and Depression," at http://wp.me/p22afJ-HK, perhaps you and some of your readers might find it helpful. From the responses I got, I know that people suffering these sensations are truly NOT alone (and of course not an alien), as your experience with support groups showed you.
